Dr Fakrudin Kaderbhai
Principal

I am a Leeds graduate qualified in 1982 and have always worked in general practice. I established this practice in 1986, and then we moved to its current purpose built premises in 1996. I take great pride and pleasure in my job as a dentist.

My practice has a philosophy of high quality patient care derived from staff training, education and development.

My other passion is gardening and I hate paperwork!

Dr Gurmukh Singh Raja

I qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 1998 and completed my first year Vocational Training in a busy city centre practice.

I then moved to Leicester and began working at TDP in 2000 and have been here since. I have taken an active role in helping the practice develop and watched it grow into an excellent dental centre.

Cosmetic dentistry has become a passion of mine, an interest which i had since I started. I have attended several advanced courses and have also completed one led by the fantastic dentists on the ’10 years younger’ tv programme . I am also a certified invisalign doctor.

Most of my spare time is spent with my 3 year old daughter who doesn’t leave my side as soon as i get home!!

Sport, travelling, films and gardening have had to take second place

Dr Bridget Pendelton

After qualifying in 1988 from Newcastle University, I spent two years in general practice in the North East, joining TDP in 1990.

I did move back to Nottingham for a few years while my boys were young. Fortunately, I had an opportunity to come back to TDP and so I did and have been here since.

Rebuilding and restoring confidence in very nervous patients and getting them to feel comfortable with attending regularly is an aspect of dentistry I find very rewarding.

I enjoy running, mountain walking and skiing, although a lot of spare time is taken up being ‘mums taxi’ to my two sons.

I also m also planning to remarry in August 2008 when i will become Mrs. Aseltine.

Dr Nisha Pattani

I qualified at Manchester University in 2002. Since qualifying, I have worked in general practice in Essex and then moved to Leicester in 2007 and joined TDP in November.

I have a special interest in restorative dentistry and endodontics. I am currently studying for my MSc in restorative dentistry at university college london.

I also enjoy treating children, always promoting preventative dentistry.

I have recently started salsa dancing, enjoy going to the cinema and I love to cook. I also ski and snowboard and go to the gym.

In my spare time I enjoy computing, politics and current affairs.

Carolyn Green
Dental therapist

I began my career in dentistry in 1994 as a dental nurse progressing to reception and then onto managerial duties. After qualifying as a dental nurse i went on to do  post- qualifications in: radiography, oral health education, dental sedation, endodontics, orthodontics and implantology. Following this I became a dental nurse tutor. I then began working in London as a specialist dental nurse before my passion for dentistry took me to University and i qualified as a dental therapist and hygienist at Sheffield University in 2006.

In my spare time I enjoy computing, politics and current affairs.

Manisha Gohil
Hygienist

I was born in East Africa, raised in Canada, and have lived in the UK for the past 12 years. I qualified at King’s College London in 1998 and have been happily working at TDP since August 2003. I enjoy looking after my patients and find my work very rewarding and believe that good oral hygiene is the key to good health.

My hobbies include shopping, travelling, entertaining family and friends and bike riding.

Asma Kaderbhai
Practice administrator

I have been at TDP since its inception in 1986. In fact i was the only member of staff at that time. I have seen the practice grow by leaps and bounds. It’s fun to be at work with a team of dedicated and motivated people.

I am mainly in charge of administrative tasks but I fit in wherever I am needed.  I qualified as a dental nurse in 1994.

Reading and watching Indian films are my favourite past times

team

Nikky Miles
Practice manager

I started working at TDP in 1991 as a dental nurse and then took on the position of Practice Manager which I have held since.

I have always enjoyed my job as it is so varied, meeting new people and then looking after them which is very rewarding.

I now work part time as i have a young daughter.

I enjoy going to the gym, tap dancing and getting as much happiness out of life as possible.

team

Deborah Hughes
Practice manager/patient coordinator

I joined the practice as a part time dental nurse/receptionist in 2000.

The feel of the practice was warm and friendly and I felt part of the team instantly.

My hours increased, as did my level of commitment.

Nikky reduced her working hours and in 2006 we began a job share undertaking managing the team, looking after all our patients and the day to day running of the practice.

I have a grown up son and a very supportive partner. We enjoy going to the theatre, eating out and entertaining at home. I also have a passion for cosmetics especially fragrance.
