The Practice

Thurmaston Dental Practice has been established for over 20 yrs and has grown to become an excellent dental centre providing the best care for patients in Leicester.

The practice is purpose built over 2 floors comprising of 4 fully equipped and modern surgeries, 2 comfortable waiting rooms with their own independent reception areas. We have 3 dentists, a dental therapist and hygienist. The team also comprises of a full compliment of dedicated nursing and administrative staff. Our continued investment in dental equipment and technology with postgraduate education and training for the whole team ensures the level of service and care you deserve.

The practice is fully air conditioned for your comfort. Intra oral cameras and digital x-rays are used in the surgeries to help show and explain treatments to patients. We follow all the current BDA guidelines on cross-infection control and sterilisation. We also have full access and facilities for disabled and wheelchair bound patients on the ground floor.

As a team we try and support our patients and local community by holding open days especially during National Smile month, which we use to educate and encourage the importance of a healthy mouth and good oral hygiene. We have fun and games for the youngsters and healthy snacks for the parents. This year we are sponsoring Thurmaston Magpies, an under 13s football team and they also joined us on the day.

Our support continues with local schools helping young adults who are considering dentistry as a career and they are invited to observe and gain experience at the practice to help make their decisions.
